Founded in 1989, MAC Pistons Co. Ltd, the piston- and hard-chrome cylinder liner-manufacturer was spun off from the 1-ton-pickup-piston OEM to focus on After-Sale market that had been substantially growing. By 1994, MAC Pistons Co. acquired many cutting-edge heavy-duty piston technologies from Germany, and expanded to the market of heavy-duty truck piston. Nowadays, MAC Pistons Co. has fully served after-sale market of 1-ton pickup-, truck-, agricultural-, and NGV-engines for the whole country, as well as the Asia Pacific countries. Today, guided by an experienced management team, MAC Pistons Co. continues to define the direction of market by high-quality standard with reliable assurance system, like our promise since the first day.

ในการก่อตั้งในปี พ.ศ. 2532 บริษัท แมคพิสตัน จำกัด เริ่มต้นจากการแยกตัวมาจากบริษัทแม่ที่ผลิตลูกสูบสำหรับส่งให้บริษัทผลิต รถบรรทุกขนาดหนึ่งตัน(ปิกอัพ)โดยตรง เพื่อมาทำการตลาดในกลุ่มลูกสูบสำหรับตลาดหลังการขายที่เติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่องโดยเฉพาะ
ในปี พ.ศ. 2537 บริษัท แมคพิสตัน จำกัด ได้ทำข้อตกลงแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ด้านเทคโนโลยีขั้นสูงกับบริษัทที่เยอรมันนี เพื่อขยายตลาด เข้าสู่กลุ่มลูกสูบสำหรับรถบรรทุกขนาดใหญ่ที่ใช้งานบรรทุกหนักโดยเฉพาะ
ณ ปัจจุบัน บริษัท แมคพิสตัน จำกัด รองรับลูกค้าในหลายๆกลุ่มไม่ว่าจะเป็น รถบรรทุกขนาดหนึ่งตัน(ปิกอัพ), รถบรรทุกขนาดใหญ่, เครื่องจักรกลการเกษตร, รวมไปถึงเครื่องยนต์ที่ใช้ ก๊าซธรรมชาติ (NGV) เป็นเชื้อเพลิง โดยมีตลาดคลอบคลุมไปทั่วประเทศ และ กลุ่มประเทศในเอเชียแปซิฟิค
